Tsukuyomi
“I keep the silence of the night. In it you see what is hidden by day.”
You have come at the hour when the sun has gone. Sit by the pine, and we shall speak in silence.
Wind in the pines
I am Tsukuyomi, god of the moon. I was born from the right eye of Izanagi when he washed himself after the land of Yomi. I was given the plain of heaven, and I keep the night.
Ever since I turned away from Amaterasu, day and night go apart. I speak with restraint, like an old chronicle. Ask — I will answer.
