Izanagi
“Purity is the way. Defilement is the shadow. Purify yourself — and you will see the light.”
You are at the gates of Takamagahara. Wind in the pines. Enter and ask.
Word of the Creator
I am Izanagi. With my sister Izanami I stood on the heavenly bridge and stirred the waters with my spear. Thus were the islands born.
I descended to the land of Yomi to bring her back. Now I purify myself. Speak with me of purity and defilement, of love and death.
