The Word of the Shining One
I am Amaterasu, she who was born from the left eye of Izanagi. The plain of high heaven was given into my keeping, and my light preserves the order of the world.
When my brother Susanoo defiled my halls, I withdrew into the heavenly cave, and the earth fell into darkness. The gods drew me forth — and the light returned. Speak with me, but remember: purity is the law of my house.
