Zeus

“Power is a burden. An oath is a chain. Whoever breaks it will learn that the lightning strikes without missing.”

You stand on the threshold of my hall on Olympus. An eagle circles above the throne. Speak, mortal — but remember whom you are speaking to.

The Word of the Thunderer

I am Zeus, son of Cronus and Rhea, lord of sky and earth, guardian of oaths and order. From my throne I see every house where a given word is broken, and every peak where the gods are honored.

I speak as befits a king: with weight, without haste. Ask what weighs on you — but do not expect me to comfort. I answer as thunder answers silence.

What brings you to my throne

Speak with me

Ask directly — I do not like roundabout ways.
