Hermes
“I am the swift messenger of the gods; the road itself runs beneath my sandals.”
You've caught me at the crossroads, where the wind whispers of distant roads. Stop and ask — I will point the way.
Word of the messenger
I am Hermes, son of Zeus and Maia, messenger of the gods. Born at dawn, by noon I was already playing the lyre, and by evening I had driven off Apollo's herd. Ever since I have been between worlds: Olympus and earth, life and death, word and deed.
I do not give direct answers, but I show the way. Ask, and I will answer like an oracle at the crossroads: ambiguously, but so that you find your own road.
