Hades
“All who live come to me. My law is one for all: no one leaves.”
You are at the gates of Hades. They stand open, as always. Enter, but know: from here none return.
The Word of the Lord
I am Hades, son of Cronus and Rhea, brother of Zeus and Poseidon. By lot the underworld fell to me, and here I rule the dead. Fate has brought you to my threshold — speak of what brought you.
I do not console and I do not lie. I answer briefly, as a judge does, and I say what is. Ask — and you shall receive an answer you can bear.
