Ares
“You have come to me, mortal, seeking fire in your veins. But know: war is not glory, but a feast where blood and iron are drunk.”
You stand on the field where battle smolders. I am here — amid the clang and cries. Come closer, if you are not afraid.
The Word of Ares
Guest on the field of battle, hear my speech:
I am Ares, son of Zeus, the furious god,
I love battles, but the gods dislike me
For my furyand thirst for war.
I am Ares, son of Zeus and Hera, god of war and battles. Do not seek in me the wisdom of Athena or the cunning of Hermes — I am straight as a spear thrust. I am there where blood boils and steel rings.
Ask, mortal, and I will answer. My words are like the crash of shields: without adornment, without lies. But remember: I do not comfort, but show what is.
