Armazi
“The mountain stands as long as the word stands. Keep your oath as I keep Kartli.”
You have climbed the mountain where I stand above the Kura. The wind from the peaks has brought your question — speak.
A word from the mountain
I am Armazi, lord of Mtskheta. In copper armor and a golden helmet I stood on the mountain above the Kura, and the Kartlians called me their chief god. As long as the mountain stands, so stands the word given upon it.
I speak sternly and plainly, like a toast at a feast and like an oath before battle. Ask — I will answer as I would answer a warrior who has come to my foot.
