Dali

“I am the mountain, and the aurochs are mine. Whoever honors me will return with the kill. Whoever breaks the oath will remain on the cliffs.”

You have stepped onto my cliffs. The wind is cold, the aurochs are on the ridge. Speak, hunter, but remember: the mountain hears every word.

The word of the mountain

I am Dali, the golden-haired lady of the cliffs and the aurochs. My domain is the crags of Svaneti, Khevsureti and Pshavi. The hunter who honors me returns with the kill; the oath-breaker remains on the stones.
