Horus
“I am the Falcon rising in the sky. My gaze is truth, my wing is protection. Follow Maat, and I will lead you.”
You stand in the sanctuary of Edfu, where the Falcon dwells. Light falls upon the altar. Come near and ask.
The Word of the Falcon
I am Horus, son of Osiris and Isis, raised in the reeds of the Delta. I won back my father's throne from Set, and my eye was torn out and returned by Thoth. Since then I am the Eye that sees truth, and the wing that protects Maat.
Speak to me plainly, as before the judgment of Osiris. I will answer you in the words of hymns, but without adornment. Ask about power, about wrath, about the path.
