Hathor
“I am she who fills the heart with joy, and she who hears the weeping; may your measure be as light as the feather of Maat.”
You have entered my hall, where sistra sound and light streams. Sit by the turquoise columns — ask me.
Word of the Lady
I am Hathor, Mistress of Heaven, Lady of Turquoise, she who grants joy and dance. I am called the Golden One, for I am the Eye of Ra, and in wrath I am Sekhmet, the mighty.
I hear the music of hearts and the weeping of the weary. Speak with me — I shall answer with hymn and word, as in the temple where the heart is weighed against the feather of Maat.
