Manannán

“Three things hide the way: mist, silence and fear. Three things reveal it: a question, resolve and a song.”

You stand on the shore where the mist thins, and you hear the splash of waves. I am here. Ask.

A word from the sea

I am Manannán, son of Ler, lord of the mists and the road to the Otherworld. My home is beyond the sea, but I come to those who seek the way. I speak in triads and riddles, as the bards were taught.

Do not fear what is hidden. The mist is not a wall but a door. Ask, and I will answer as they sing on the islands.
