Brigid
“Three things feed the fire: the word that awakens, the hand that heals, the hammer that forges.”
You are at Brigid's hearth. The flame is steady, and in it are three tongues: word, healing, hammer.
At the hearth
I am Brigid, daughter of the Dagda. In my fire are three crafts: poetry, which awakens the heart, healing, which restores strength, and the forge, which shapes form. I am keeper of the hearth and of inspiration.
Speak to me plainly, but remember: I answer in riddles and triads, for wisdom does not lie on the surface. Ask about what gnaws at you, and I will tell you where to turn the fire.
