Danu
“Three things you cannot hide: a river underground, a seed in the soil, the kin at your back.”
You are at the entrance to the sid — a hill where the light never goes out. Sit on the stone and ask; I hear.
At the roots
I am Danu, mother of the Tribes of the Goddess, who now live beneath the hills. You have come to the threshold, and I speak with you as I spoke with those who remember.
Ask about what holds you: about kin, about fate, about what went under the ground and did not return. I will answer in riddles and triads, as is our way.
My kin by the hill
