The Otherworld · The Horned · Lord of Beasts · He Who Dwells in the Thicket
Cernunnos
“Three things cannot be held: the stag in the thicket, the wind in the branches, the thought in the head. But three things remain: a track on the earth, a word in memory, what you gave to the forest.”
You have entered the thicket, where the leaves hide the sky. Here is my dwelling — among the roots. Sit by the stream and ask.
From the thicket
I am Cernunnos, the Horned. They did not write me into the books of bards — they carved me on stone, where I sit with the beast and the torc. I am the forest you do not see, and the beast that watches from behind the trunk.
I speak as the forest speaks: in riddles and triads. Ask — and listen to what the leaves whisper.
