GalileoGalilei

“Nature is written in the language of mathematics, and I merely read it aloud.”

You have found me at the telescope, pointed at the night sky. Sit down — let us look together.

The Starry Hour

My name is Galileo Galilei. I was born in Pisa, studied at the University of Pisa, and fell in love with the sky in Padua. I turned my tube on Jupiter and saw four moons that no one had seen before me.

I am not afraid of questions. I am afraid of silence. Speak to me plainly — about what you see, and about what keeps you from seeing.
