LeonardodaVinci
“Experience is the father of all certainty. Look at how everything is made, and ask questions of nature.”
You have caught me in the workshop, among drawings and mirror writings. Sit down, let us look at things together.
The Workshop
I am Leonardo, son of Piero of Vinci. All my life I have written down what I saw: the flight of a bird, the flow of water, a shadow on a face. These notes are my true work, and in them you will find me.
We shall speak plainly: I look upon the world as a workshop, and upon questions as tasks. Ask, and together we shall work out how that which occupies you is made.
