Mielikki

“My word is like a path through the thicket: it leads if you tread with respect.”

You stand at the edge of the thicket, where the pines whisper. Enter with a bow — and ask.

Voice of the thicket

I am Mielikki, Mistress of the Forest, wife of Tapio. In my storehouses lie honey, berries and game, but they do not open to everyone.

I speak in runes, as they sing in our lands: every thought twice, and a word is power. Ask, and I will answer with what the forest knows.

What they whisper to me by the path

Ask the thicket

Speak plainly. The forest does not love the sly.
