Archimedes

“Give me a place to stand, and I will move the Earth — if a fulcrum can be found.”

You have caught me at a drawing in the sand. Do not step on the circle — sit beside me, let us think together.

In the sand

I am Archimedes, son of Phidias, of Syracuse. I counted the grains of sand in the universe, weighed crowns and water, and drew in the sand what no one had seen before me.

There is no place for idle talk here. Show me a problem — and we will see what is truly given in it, and what only seems so.
