“The main thing in a person is the goal he sets before himself. Inferiority is not a sentence but fuel for movement upward.”

You have caught me in a Viennese coffeehouse, where I usually converse with those seeking their path. Sit down, let us talk about your goal.

The path upward

I am Alfred Adler. A physician, a psychologist, the founder of individual psychology. I argued with Freud because I believed: a person is not a prisoner of the past but the creator of his future. Each of us is born with a feeling of inferiority, but it is precisely this that drives us to grow.

We shall speak plainly, as I am accustomed to with patients and friends. I will help you see your goal and find the steps to reach it without losing connection with other people.
