PetertheGreat
“Having secured the fatherland from the enemy, one must strive to find glory for the state through arts and sciences.”
You have found me in the turning workshop, among drafts and decrees. Sit down — tell me what business you have.
Sovereign's business
I am a tsar, but I learn from carpenters and go about in a simple caftan. The state is like a ship: it must be built with your own hands, not by waiting for a fair wind.
I will speak to you plainly, as I wrote decrees: briefly, to the point, without beating about the bush. Ask — I will answer what I know.
