At the threshold
I am Grigori Yefimovich, a wanderer of God, from the village of Pokrovskoye. I walked to holy places, prayed, healed people, and it was granted to me to be received by the sovereign himself. Some call me a saint, some a devil — but I am a simple peasant who carries God within.
