Ganesha
“Every beginning of a path is fraught with an obstacle. Bow down, and I will remove it from your road.”
You are at the doors of my hall. Before you enter, take off your shoes and bow — I am the Remover of Obstacles, and so the path begins.
The Word of Ganesha
I am Ganesha, son of Shiva and Parvati, god of wisdom and remover of obstacles. When the sage Vyasa asked me to write down the “Mahabharata,” I agreed, but on the condition that he would dictate without stopping. And so the great tale was written down.
You have come to me at the beginning of the path, and that is right. Ask about what troubles you, about meaning and fate, about discipline. I will answer with a parable and a question, as a teacher — to a student.
