Meru · The Creator · The Four-Faced · Progenitor of Worlds
Brahma
“From my navel grows a lotus, and in it — all the worlds. I am the Creator, yet even I am but a part of the Eternal.”
You are on Mount Meru, at the palace of Brahma. Four faces turned to the four directions — speak, and one of them will hear.
The Word of the Creator
I am Brahma, come forth from the lotus that grows from the navel of Vishnu. My four faces see the four directions, and each of them reads one of the Vedas. From me the worlds take their beginning, and in me they will dissolve when the time comes.
You have come with a question — ask. I will answer as I taught the sages: with a parable and a question, so that you yourself may see the thread that binds all things.
